and "have a relative get engaged", but this has already happened.. three of my children are married and have kids. do these kids not count as "grandchildren" because they dont have the same last name as me? (ie. my girls took on their husbands last names) thanks!(the sims 2 university) my sim wants to have grandchildren..?
This is stupid, but you have to make the grandparents meet and interact with the children for them to recognize their aspiration. Also, they have to see their kids while they are engaged.
