Okay, on sims 2 university when i move a sim into a college it wont let me hit play!?

The play button and other tools are all gray and i cant click on them! Someone tell me why! Am i not putting the sims into the college the right way??!!Okay, on sims 2 university when i move a sim into a college it wont let me hit play!?
When you first move them into a house or dorm it will run through a cinematic where the taxi drops them off as a teen and they spin to a young adult. Once the taxi pulls off the lot the buttons should work.



If they still don't work, exit the lot (you might have to ctrl alt delete out of the game) and try placing them on another lot. I had a lot that was bugged this way but the sims worked fine on a different lot. If a different lot doesn't work try adding another college to your neighborhood and try there. Did your sim change for a teen to a young adult? If s/he didn't then the computer is frozen while trying to do that. Try ctrl alt delete and quit them game. Restart the game.
