I actually have sims 3, so i may not be of any help. But to add people you could get married, have kids, adopt a kid, or if you want to create your own person I would completely delete that family, and try to make an identical one but add the people you want. Hope i helped. :)

How do I add a sim character to my 'Sims 2 University' family?
I got 'Sims 2 University' recently and need help. I made a family but have only created one character for it so far (I absent-mindedly clicked 'accept family' before I was finished!).
