How do you make a residential house on sims 2 university?

Okay, what I'm trying to ask is really complicated to explain. I need to figure out where, or how to find or build a residential house on Sims 2 University. In the pamphlet it says: "The most expensive option for Sim students, residential housing lets them choose their own houses and whom they want to live with. With enough simoleons, they can live alone." I really need help. In the pamphlet it also includes a picture of two sims rooming with each other! im sorry what i meant was how do you make two sims room together? i don't have any kind of those buildings for rooming sims so i want to make then, because i can't find one to download on the sims 2 website.

There are several residential homes in the university lots. They just rent them. Best thing to do is just move them in then modify the home thats already there. For 2 sims just move them both in individually and it makes them roommates.
